Our MissionWe desire to help people find God. You were created in the image and likeness of God. You have innate worth, dignity and value because of that. If you are far from the One who created you, we want to help you find Him. Once you become aware of God, we want you to find freedom in Jesus. Christ has set us free to live a free life. There are individual desires in life that we think create freedom. When these desires are against God's will for His creation though, pursuing those desires create shackles. We want to help you find real freedom. Who the Son sets free, is free indeed! Once you find God and experience freedom through Jesus, we want to help you discover your purpose. You were created with a special set of skills that helps build God's Kingdom on earth. Let's discover those together. And finally, let's make a difference on earth for the God's Kingdom together! from Sunday service to our Wednesday Discipleship sessions, we aim to guide our members to a deeper understanding and relationship with God. Community is at the core of CBC. We create opportunities for our members to forge meaningful relationships, support one another, and share life's joys and challenges. Christ's teachings inspire us to step out and make a difference. Through our outreach programs and community service initiatives, we aspire to be a source of hope, help, and love to those in need. |
Our Values1. The Bible – After all, it’s in our name. We “turn pages” and embrace God’s Word as the objective, inerrant, sufficient source of truth. 2. Life Change – You should definitely come as you are, but then you should let the Gospel change you for the better. Remember, it’s ok to be ok, but it’s not ok to stay ok. 3. The Family – We strive to be a family-centered, church-supported organization. The family is God’s original small group so we try to empower the family to thrive. 4. Ownership – You’re on a treadmill at the gym and it breaks. If you’re a member, you get someone else to fix it. If you’re an owner, you fix it. We encourage our members to be owners. 5. Unity – We are not looking for uniformity but unity. Jesus prayed for it, Satan tries to keep us from it and King David said the blessing of God follows it. The world will know that God sent Jesus based on how well Christians work together. 6. Generosity – Time, money, abilities, and life itself are all gifts from God. From local and international missions, maintaining our building, funding our staff, serving, and discipling, we are a people who give back to God what He so graciously given us in the first place. 7. Excellence – This is not perfection, but doing the best with what you have. Whatever you find yourself doing, do it all to the glory of God. He is worthy of our best all of the time, every time. 8. The Process – The Christian life is a trial and error process in which we fail… a lot! We value the process and operate with grace and mercy. Always fail forward and take next steps. |
